Artwork
Inspired by the natural world and working closely with nature, I have always sketched and painted views and places that have moved me.
My artwork takes the colours from nature, using different techniques and tools to create the feeling of space, movement, texture and form to evoke emotions reflecting the healing and restorative effects of being in nature.
Plant Design & Consultancy
I established The Garden Angel in Edinburgh in 2004, having left a successful career in the corporate world. I was a volunteer gardener for the RNIB and found my passion for gardening whilst carrying out this work.

My aim from day one was to provide the highest quality of work for my clients. This encompasses reliability, a good eye for detail and delivering exactly what each client and their garden requires. I work closely with my clients and listen to exactly what they are looking for with regards to their gardens. The work I carry out should meet the expectations of my clients whilst catering for the needs of each individual garden. I believe strongly in working alongside nature, not trying to control it. My work should have a positive impact on the natural world as well as creating spaces that people can thrive in.
With this in mind, The Garden Angel offers both Plant Design and Consultancy.
